CVICA/BYBEE Awards
CVICA is pleased to announce this year’s scholarship winners. In partnership with the Faith P. and Charles L. Bybee Foundation and along with the Carl L. Wendler Family, the organization will once again award $2000.00 to each student in three counties; Colorado, Fayette and Lee.
2026 Scholarship Recipients
Gretchen Anne Sacks
Gretchen Anne Sacks of Round-Top Carmine High School; Fayette County, will be attending Tarleton State University, majoring in Animal Science.
Jessica Kay Rohde
Jessica Kay Rohde of Round-Top Carmine High School; Fayette County, will be attending Blinn in Brenham Texas, majoring in Dental Hygiene.
Jack Elliott Schley
Jack Elliott Schley of Fayetteville High School; Fayette County Texas, will be attending Blinn Jr. College, majoring in Agribusiness.

One of many chapters
CVICA (Colorado Valley Independent Cattlemen’s Association) is one of many chapters in the state. The chapter participates in three counties and awards scholarships to graduating High School seniors.
The chapter also supports and sponsors cattle programs such as; Annual Cattlemen’s Map, along with the All-Breed Bull & Female Sale in Gonzales, Texas.
